Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Leather Sewer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sewing and leatherwork, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products. This position requires precision and expertise in handling various leather materials and sewing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines and other leatherworking tools to assemble leather products according to specifications.
- Read and interpret patterns and techpacks to understand assembly instructions.
- Cut, sew, and finish leather pieces with attention to detail to ensure high quality and consistency.
- Perform maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in leather sewing or a related field.
- Proficient in using industrial sewing machines and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of leather properties and handling techniques.
- Ability to interpret complex designs and technical instructions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
