As a Decoration Specialist at Softline, you will be responsible for creating and executing detailed and artistic designs on various fabrics and materials. Your exceptional attention to detail and creativity will play a crucial role in producing beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that exceed our clients’ expectations. You will collaborate with our design team to bring their visions to life through your embroidery and stamping skills. Embroidery experience is required.


Responsibilities:
– Interpret design briefs and conceptualize patterns that align with client
preferences and project requirements.
– Set up and operate embroidery machines, ensuring proper thread tension,
color selection, and overall machine performance.
– Hoop fabrics and materials securely in preparation for embroidery, making
adjustments as needed to ensure precise alignment.
– Create intricate and visually appealing embroidery designs using various
stitching techniques, threads, and embellishments.
– Maintain a high level of quality control, consistently producing embroidery
that meets our standards of excellence.
– Collaborate with the design team to suggest creative embroidery solutions
and provide insights into the technical feasibility of design concepts.
– Stay updated on embroidery trends, techniques, and technologies to
continuously improve your craft and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
– Manage inventory of embroidery supplies, including threads, needles, and
fabrics, and communicate supply needs to the appropriate personnel.
– Assist with finishing touches, such as trimming excess threads, removing
stabilizers, and ensuring the final product is ready for presentation.

Qualifications:
– Proficiency in using embroidery machines is required. 
– Strong artistic and creative skills, with an eye for detail and precision in
design execution.
– Knowledge of different embroidery threads, fabrics, stabilizers, and their
appropriate applications.
– Ability to interpret design specifications and work collaboratively with a
design team.
– Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet
project deadlines.
– Strong communication skills to convey design concepts and ideas
effectively.
– A passion for embroidery and a commitment to producing high-quality
work.

Compensation: $17+ DOE

Hours: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm CT
