Acco came to us looking to expand to a market beyond school and office goods. They utilized Softline’s experience in sourcing, building, and managing quality leather goods to develop a fashion brand product line from top to bottom – the Slate Collection.
We started by working with our tanneries to develop a custom leather that met Acco’s specification of being fashionable and waterproof. We then took the objectives of the brand into the design and build phases to create a collection of travel-oriented, business appropriate leather bags and accessories.
